The Ashley table is an extension table, designed for a client in a circular straw bale home in Frederick, MD.  The extension mechanism resides in the base and easily pulls out so that leaves can be added at each end for entertaining larger parties.  

This table is made from oak that was harvested from the client's property and features mortise and tenon joinery.  It is finished with an all-natural plant-based varnish.

The dimensions shown are 72"'w x 38"d x 36"h, with the option of extending to 95"w with one leaf in place, and 118"w with two leaves in place.  This design can be modified for a custom fit.
